A group of University of Utah researchers are developing an app, video games, and interactive modules to teach evolution to students. And it could change science classrooms in your child's school.

Doctor Louisa Stark, principle investigator for the project, and Genetic Science Learning Center Director joined us on the Browser 5.0 to talk about the project.

This project allows students to conduct research studies just like the ones current scientists are working on. And these lessons can take place in the classroom in just a half an hour.

You can also find learning tools and other science-based lessons on the Learn Genetics website. It's the most widely used science and lfie science resource in the world, with users in virtually every country around the world. It's was developed right here in Utah, and Utah teachers have contributed to the lessons. http://learn.genetics.utah.edu/
